A dip into the LightRoom catalog found some favorite photos from winters past. These are among my early photos with a Nikon D70s. The CCD sensor in the D70s has a unique look. The colors are not like those from the modern CMOS sensors in Nikon bodies. The sensor in the D70s makes the camera relevant even today. If the 17 year old body failed, I would probably buy another one just to keep getting this look.
Gear Photos were made with a Nikon D70s paired with either a Nikon DX 35 mm f/1.8 or a Nikon DX 18-70 mm f/3.5 - 4.5.
